Phi Theta Kappa chapters who are currently not subscribers to the 2006 Honors Satellite
Seminar Series are invited to participate in the final broadcast
free of charge. The Satellite Seminars provide chapters a unique opportunity
to initiate dialogue and discussion on topics of current relevance. On
Tuesday, November 14 at 6:30 pm Central Time, Arun
Gandhi, grandson of the legendary peace fighter Mohandas K. Gandhi,
will explain the practice of nonviolence as taught to him by his grandfather.
To participate, contact Honors Programs Coordinator Tria
Cohen by Monday, November 13, to receive satellite coordinates.
Be sure to include your contact name, college, chapter, state, phone number,
and email address. Promotional
materials for this seminar are also available on the website.
Colleges must have C-band or Ku-band satellite downlink capabilities
to participate. The 2006 Satellite Seminar Series continues to draw outstanding
reviews. Learn
how participation in these interactive presentations on aspects
of the Honors Study Topic can invigorate your chapter's honors programming
and benefit your college and community.
