Phi Theta Kappa is looking for dedicated Society members who are high achievers
and consider themselves servant leaders. Does this sound like you? If so,
consider a campaign for International
Office at the 2008 International Convention.
International
Officers are entrusted with many responsibilities throughout their term
in office, from presiding over the International Honors Institute to speaking
at regional meetings to giving input on Phi Theta Kappa programs and priorities.
The Headquarters Staff works closely with our International Officers
to ensure their year is one of personal and professional growth. Officers
receive many other tangible benefits including a laptop computer, a $2,000
scholarship, and all of their travel expenses paid to official Phi Theta
Kappa events.
International Officer campaigns take place
at the International Convention. But it's not too early for a candidate
to organize a campaign team and plan their campaign. If you've made up your
mind to seek International Office or you want more information to help you
decide, email your name, contact information, college, chapter and the
office you're interested in seeking to Director of Programs Jennifer
Stanford. Applications are now available upon request and completed
applications are due at Headquarters by February 22, 2008.
