Chapters in the Carolinas Region are working together to survey students
to determine whether they are registered to vote and whether they know the
candidates and issues related to the 2008 election. After the survey is
completed, regional leaders will analyze the data and share it with all
Carolinas chapters. From that analyzed data, chapters will determine
the needs of their colleges and communities and will organize Voice Your
Vote projects to address those needs. The goals of this regional project
are to register people to vote, to help voters make informed choices, and
to share the information they garner from their research with their campuses
and communities. Visit the Carolinas
Honors Study Topic website for more information on this project
to connect Voice
Your Vote opportunities with the 2008-2010 Honors
Study Topic, The Paradox of Affluence: Choices, Challenges,
and Consequences.
