The Pinnacle Scholarship Award Program Participation Guidelines for Chapters

Members must be reported by 12 noon Central Time on December 29, 2006, to be counted in the Pinnacle Scholarship Award Program.

Chapters may be recognized on any of the levels below:
Pinnacle Bronze Award, Pinnacle Silver Award, Pinnacle Gold Award, Pinnacle Platinum Award.

Chapters must be officially enrolled in The Pinnacle Scholarship Award Program to be eligible for recognition. Advisors or chapter officers may enroll chapters. To enroll your chapter, complete The Pinnacle Scholarship Award Program Chapter Form online.


Pinnacle Bronze Award

Pinnacle Bronze Chapter Requirements:

A chapter increasing the number of members reported to Headquarters by at least one student over the previous year will be recognized as a Pinnacle Bronze Chapter.

Pinnacle Bronze Chapter Recognition:

  • A congratulatory letter will be sent to their college president from Executive Director Rod A. Risley, recognizing the chapter's achievement.

  • The Pinnacle Bronze Chapter Certificate will be presented to the chapter during a regional meeting.

  • Special ribbons will be worn on chapter members' International Convention Name Badges, recognizing their chapter's Pinnacle Program achievements.


Pinnacle Silver Award

Pinnacle Silver Chapter Requirements:

A chapter increasing the number of members reported to Headquarters by 10 percent over the previous year or inducting 90 percent of eligible students will be recognized as a Pinnacle Silver Chapter.

Pinnacle Silver Chapter Recognition:

  • The chapter will receive the Pinnacle Silver Chapter Award, a $100 stipend to be used for chapter scholarships.

  • A congratulatory letter will be sent to their college president from Executive Director Rod A. Risley, explaining that this achievement will result in academic recognition and benefits for a significant number of students at the college.

  • The Pinnacle Silver Chapter Certificate will be presented to the chapter during a regional meeting.

  • Special ribbons will be worn on chapter members' International Convention Name Badges, recognizing their chapter's Pinnacle Program achievements.


Pinnacle Gold Award

Pinnacle Gold Chapter Requirements:

A chapter that increases the number of members reported to Headquarters by 10 percent for three consecutive years, or inducts 90 percent of eligible members for three consecutive years will be recognized with the Pinnacle Gold Chapter Award.

Pinnacle Gold Chapter Recognition:

  • The chapter will receive the Pinnacle Gold Chapter Award, a $100 stipend to be used for chapter scholarships.

  • A congratulatory letter will be sent to their college president from Executive Director Rod A. Risley, explaining the significance of the Pinnacle Gold Chapter Award, and listing the many opportunities for recognition that the college will receive as a result of the chapter's success.

  • The chapter will receive the Pinnacle Obelisk, a special trophy presented at the International Convention.

  • The Pinnacle Gold Chapter Certificate will be presented to the chapter during a regional meeting.


Pinnacle Platinum Award

Pinnacle Platinum Chapter Requirements:

A chapter increasing the number of members inducted and reported between September 1 and December 31, 2006, by 20% over the number of new members inducted and reported during the same period in 2005 will be named a Pinnacle Platinum Chapter. A chapter that did not report any new members during the fall 2005 term will be eligible for the Pinnacle Platinum Award if they induct and report ten or more members between September 1 and December 31, 2006.

Pinnacle Platinum Chapter Recognition:
  • The chapter will receive one complimentary Convention Registration for the 2007 International Convention in Nashville, TN.

  • The Pinnacle Platinum Chapter Certificate will be presented to the chapter during a regional meeting.
