December 2 Deadline for Gordon and Bennett Awards

Nominations for the Gordon and Bennett Awards for college presidents must be received at Phi Theta Kappa International Headquarters by 5:00 pm Central Time on Friday, December 2, 2005. The Shirley B.Gordon Awards of Distinction are presented to administrators in recognition of outstanding support to Phi Theta Kappa on a chapter, regional and international level. Michael Bennett Lifetime Achievement Awards are presented to retiring administrators who have demonstrated exemplary support to Phi Theta Kappa. Entry and Nomination Forms for both awards, and tips for Gordon Award entries, are available at www.ptk.org/hallmarks/. Special note: Judging rubrics are not provided for Gordon and Bennett awards, but a checklist of areas of importance is included with the Entry Forms.
