National Dean's List Increases Member Scholarships;
Establishes New Benefit for Advisors
National Dean's List Scholarships for members will increase to 50 scholarships of $250 each in 2004; and for the first time the National Dean's List will offer scholarships for Phi Theta Kappa faculty advisors.
Members reported to Headquarters June 1, 2003 - February 29, 2004, received their National Dean's List biographical form in the spring and should have returned the completed forms by May 18. Members reported March 1, 2004 - May 31, 2004, will receive their biographical forms in mid to late June, and should return their completed forms by July 8.

Society advisors with two years service or more were automatically nominated for inclusion in Who's Who Among America's Teachers. Four scholarships of $250 each will be awarded to advisors selected at random from those who return their completed biographical forms. Eligible advisors received their biographical forms in May, and should return the completed forms by June 7.

The increase from 30 to 50 member scholarships, and the new faculty advisor scholarships were announced at the recent International Convention by Jefferey J. Fix, Vice President and General Manager of Educational Communications, Inc., publishers of the National Dean's List and Who's Who Among America's Teachers. Phi Theta Kappa members have been automatically nominated for the National Dean's List for some 15 years.
