A Hair-Raising Event!

Paula Jackson, vice president of service for her chapter at Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Minnesota, went to great lengths to participate in the "Conquering Cancer" International Service Program. Her chapter recently organized a "hair drive" for Locks of Love, a nonprofit organization which provides hairpieces to children who have lost their hair due to illness. Hair stylists provided free haircuts on campus to those willing to donate at least 10 inches of hair. "So far we have raised a total of 258 inches," reports Jackson.
