Chapters make bigger impact in 2003 with Project Graduation

Phi Theta Kappa chapters collected more than 55,000 food items and 38,500 books during Project Graduation events in 2003. These statistics reflect a record 250 percent increase over items collected in 2002. This year 436 chapters representing 48 states enrolled in this program designed to fulfill the Project Graduation mission of battling hunger and illiteracy by collecting books and non-perishable food items at college commencement ceremonies for distribution to needy recipients through community relief agencies and literacy organizations.
