New Offers from The Right Education

Phi Theta Kappa is pleased to introduce another valuable service for members from The Right Education (TRE), one of its most generous partnerships. For three years, TRE has been a strong supporter of the Society’s mission through product donations and scholarships — and their new service continues to offer additional benefits to Phi Theta Kappa.

Members may already be familiar with TRE’s popular product, The Learning and Homework Accelerator™, a software package that helps students develop and improve writing skills.

Now TRE is bundling its innovative education software with Internet access to offer an even greater value. The Right Education Internet (TRE-I) comes with built-in software for The Learning and Homework Accelerator, at a price consistent with most standard service providers. The new service is a continuation of the TRE-I commitment to provide the best education-focused Internet value for students and families.

And there’s more. Each person who signs up for TRE-I may designate a Phi Theta Kappa chapter to accrue payments of $1.00 per month. This means with just 500 subscribers, a chapter would receive $6,000 per year in cash donations. Additionally, upon reaching 500 subscribers, a chapter can donate an entire Course Presentation and Management System with individual student subscriptions to The Accelerator to the high school or college of its choice; or members may prefer to donate the course platform and subscriptions to their own community colleges.

When persons subscribe they should specify the Phi Theta Kappa ID number of the chapter they wish to support. The chapter ID number is available at TRE-I website.

Phi Theta Kappa receives 60 cents per month for each subscriber. These funds help provide scholarships and other benefits for members.

TRE-Internet’s service, an integral part of the TRE Education & Funding Initiative, is also committed to the goal of getting cutting-edge education software in the hands of 1,000,000 underprivileged students and 1,000 under-funded schools over the next two years. Choosing TRE Internet (TRE-I) as your Internet service provider will support this service initiative.

TRE-I is priced at $16.95 a month; of this amount, $1.60 per month per active subscriber is donated back to Phi Theta Kappa programs or individual chapters. Find out more about TRE-I by visiting https://secure.leapfroginet.com/tre/?aid=ptk.
