Hosting a Regional Meeting?
Here's Help!
If you have taken on the responsibility of hosting or co-hosting
a regional meeting, have no fear: Phi Theta Kappa has resources
available just for you!
While hosting a regional event will require regular consultation
with your Regional Coordinator and Regional Officers, there are some
basic guidelines your chapter can follow to ensure a successful
conference.
The purpose of any Phi Theta Kappa regional meeting is to provide
participants with a deeper understanding as well as instructions on
how to implement Phi Theta Kappa programs. If you're planning
a Leadership Conference (normally held in the summer or fall), then
your conference agenda should focus on helping chapters plan
activities and share ideas for the academic year. If you're hosting a
regional convention, the focus is generally on regional award
presentations and regional officer elections.
