Take the Case Study Challenge, and Go Out With a Bang!
The 2006 International Convention in Seattle will mark the official end of our two-year study of Popular Culture. Why not go out with a bang? Participate in the Case Study Challenge with your chapter or by yourself. Read the newspaper and select some articles on a popular culture related topic that interests you. Write a summary statement of about 500 words, project the future implications of the issue (only 200 words are needed), pose several thought-provoking questions about the topic, and suggest up to six sources for further reading and research. If your entry is selected as a winner, your entry will be published on the USA TODAY website, you will be recognized on stage in front of 3,500 Phi Theta Kappa members at the International Convention in Seattle, AND you will receive a check for $500! Hurry, entries are due March 17. Visit www.ptk.org/honors/casechall/ for more information.
