Got Free Time in Nashville?
Here's What's Happening

The "Music City" offers lots to do in your spare time - all within a short distance from the Opryland Resort & Convention Center! Music fans can start off their day by visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, located in the heart of downtown Nashville. And of course, any music fan's visit wouldn't be complete without a trip to the famous Grand Ole Opry.

Proudly sitting in the center of Centennial Park, the Parthenon is a full-scale replica of the Athenian original and functions as an art museum. Right around the corner the Frist Center for the Visual Arts displays the finest visual art and exhibitions from around the world.

History buffs can step back in time when they visit The Hermitage, the Greek revival restored home of President Andrew Jackson.

The Adventure Science Center is an educational thrill ride that combines science, fun and adventure for those still young at heart. The Nashville Zoo at Grassmere is the perfect opportunity for visitors to get up close and personal with over 350 of the zoo's animals.

Finally, shop 'til you drop at one of Nashville's many destination shopping facilities. The shops inside Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center offer convenient shopping hours while the Opry Mills outlet mall is within walking distance and has more than 200 merchants. And the Hillsboro Village shopping district supplies shoppers with local merchants and outstanding dining options in the downtown area.
