2006 Most Distinguished Chapter

The Beta Lambda Mu Chapter at Cy-Fair College in Texas was named Phi Theta Kappa's Most Distinguished Chapter during the 2006 Hallmark Awards Gala. The chapter earned Hallmark Awards in all three categories - Scholarship, Leadership and Service - and was named a Beta Alpha Continued Excellence Chapter.

Chartered just four years ago, the Beta Lambda Mu Chapter undertook an impressive series of comprehensive programs during the past year, including hosting Town Hall Meetings on the Honors Study Topic as well as dialogues on image and leadership, and establishing a college Relay For Life team.
