On the Hallmark Awards Program:
"As an officer team, we wanted to make a difference at our
college and in the community. The Hallmark Awards Program
was a great way to review the year to see if we had achieved our
goals. We were proud to share our success in being named the
2006 Most Distinguished Chapter with our college faculty, staff,
administration, and community members who have supported
us all along!"

On the Honors Case Study Challenge:
"Our chapter has discovered that success in the Case Study
Challenge all comes down to topic selection. If you choose a
topic that truly inspires and engages you, the ability to work as a
group effectively and the level of detail and commitment brought
to completing the challenge grows exponentially. It certainly is not
surprising that the more you enjoy the process, the more success
you seem to have with it."

On the International Convention:
"The best advice I have for someone who has never attended an
International Convention, is to GO! I attended the International
Convention in Seattle for the first time, and it was great. I would
have never believed that going to a convention could be so much
fun. The speakers were very exciting and the best part of all was
the Hallmark Awards Gala. I have dreams about going on the
stage to accept an award next year!"

Vice President of Service, Gloucester County College,

On Better World Books:
"A Better World Books book drive is effortless to implement! We
collected textbooks to benefit Books for Africa, to assist others with
their education. We ran our book drive for about six weeks, and
shipped 80 boxes to Better World Books. Over 90% of our books
were qualifying and we earned $661! Our members are ecstatic
about our success and it has motivated us to think of new ideas to
collect even more textbooks next semester."
