Advisor Scholarships Announced
For 2002 International Convention

Up to 50 scholarships to the 2002 International Convention and Advisor Pre-Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, will be awarded to chapter advisors who have never attended a Pre-Conference. Advisors selected will also receive a scholarship for one chapter officer to attend the International Convention and Chapter Officer Academy.

This scholarship package, valued at $415, will cover registration fees to participate in the Advisor Pre-Conference and Chapter Officer Academy on Wednesday, April 3, as well as registration fees for the International Convention, April 4 - 6.

All chapter advisors should have received an email message from Headquarters recently announcing the scholarships and asking advisors to indicate their interest in being considered by responding to the email. Email responses will be accepted until January 15, 2002. Advisors who are selected to receive the scholarships will be notified by February 1, 2002. When selecting advisors to receive the scholarships, preference will be given to those who have never attended an International Convention.

Advisors and officers who have attended past Pre-Conferences, the Officer Academy and International Convention frequently tell us that this experience was a key factor in their chapter’s success. For more information, contact Advisor Services Coordinator Kimberly Norman at 601.957.2241, ext. 522.
