Enhanced Version of eMembers Available Soon
By Ellen Roster

Beta testing has begun on the latest version of our popular eMembers software, which allows advisors to report new members online. The new version, available before the spring induction rush, will incorporate exciting new features recommended by a focus group of eMember users. The new version includes a number of time-saving options including:

  • The ability to import a list of eligible students, obtained from the registrar, directly into eMembers — eliminating all data entry! And don’t worry about eliminating those students that don’t accept membership, eMembers will mass-delete students not interested in membership.

  • An option to easily export eMembers records to the software of your choice — no duplicate data entry. Once student information is entered into eMembers, you can easily transfer the information to your favorite spreadsheet, database, or word processing package.

  • Students entered into the eMembers software are classified and can be quickly segregated for viewing and printing. Thus, students who have accepted membership can be viewed and reported separately from those students who are “pending” or considering membership.

eMembers also allows advisors to search the main database of Phi Theta Kappa members to garner current information on all their chapter members. Advisors can locate all members or a specific member by searching on last name, first name, or by entering a range of induction dates. The results of searches are displayed to the screen and can be saved on your p.c.
