Many regional officers are involved in planning the workshops and keynote addresses at their regional conventions. Some even find themselves in the role of workshop facilitator and/or keynote speaker. To ensure your convention is time well spent for your attendees, here are some suggestions to keep in mind when planning the program content. The best place to start is by answering the following questions:
A great source for ideas is at the very foundation of Phi Theta Kappa — the four Hallmarks, Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Fellowship. Ideally, your regional convention will incorporate all four. Suggested topics for each Hallmark include the following: Scholarship
