Reservations are now being accepted for Phi Theta Kappa's first Leadership Certification Seminar for 1999, to be held May 13-16 at the Hickory Ridge Conference Center in Lisle, Illinois. This intensive four-day program provides the required certification, training and usage rights for faculty to teach the Phi Theta Kappa Leadership Development Studies course on their local campuses.

Reservations are also being accepted for three additional certification seminars, June 10-13, Snowbird Conference Center, Snowbird, Utah; June 24-27, Trinity Conference Center, West Cornwall, Connecticut; and July 22-25, Snowbird Conference Center, Snowbird, Utah.

Phi Theta Kappa's Leadership Development Studies course was recently selected by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation as one of eight programs among 34 reviewed to be featured in a special publication promoting leadership initiatives previously funded by the Foundation. Reservation forms were delivered to all Leadership Development Studies certified faculty, Phi Theta Kappa chapter advisors and two-year college presidents, and may also be obtained by contacting Leadership Programs Assistant Tammy Harvey, or ext. 536.
