Catch the Wave of Chapter Communications

How can a chapter increase its membership, increase participation, and increase campus and community awareness of the chapter at the same time? The answer is a strong communication system. Whether your chapter 's communication is defined as telephone calls, newsletters, web pages or a combination of these and many others, effectively utilizing these avenues of communication is essential to the chapter 's success. If your chapter is not living up to its potential, try implementing some of the following suggestions to boost chapter communications for smooth sailing throughout the academic year.

Start the Presses!

Creating and distributing a chapter newsletter can be a simple and cost-effective method of sharing chapter news. The length of an effective newsletter ranges from one to twelve pages. Remember that to be effective, chapter newsletters need not be lengthy. Newsletters which contain concise and pertinent information are the most effective. Consider addressing the following topics in your next newsletter.
