The Journey Journey, Advisor Alert consolidated Effective the October 1998 issue, Phi Theta Kappa's Journey newsletter has been redesigned as a 16-page publication, to be mailed six times per year to advisors, chapter officers and regional officers. Previously, advisors received both the Advisor Alert, a compilation of news briefs, and the Journey, whose main focus was chapter program implementation. Chapter and regional officers received only the Journey. The consolidation of the two publications eliminates duplication of information, and streamlines the volume of mail sent to chapter advisors. Chapter advisors and chapter and regional officers whose e-mail addresses have been reported to Headquarters receive weekly electronic updates from Headquarters in the form of "Golden Key News Briefs." More than two-thirds of all advisors and a growing number of officers have e-mail access, allowing immediate communication of late-breaking news and information of special interest from Phi Theta Kappa Headquarters.
