The Journey Staff, departmental changes announced To accommodate the increasing impact of the annual Honors Study Topic, and the continuing growth of Phi Theta Kappa's 28 regions, the Department of Honors and Regional Programs at International Headquarters has been divided. Billy Wilson, who was director of the combined departments, has been named Director of Honors Programs, and will continue to oversee the development of the Topic and the Honors Program, and assist in coordinating the Honors Institute. Contact Director of Honors Programs Billy Wilson at Ext. 515, billy.wilson@ptk.org. Clancy Mitchell will assume the duties of Director of Regional Programs on September 28. A graduate of Millsaps College in Mississippi, she was Assistant Director of Admissions at Millsaps and responsible for community college transfer student recruitment. As Director of Regional Programs she will serve as liaison between Headquarters, the Regional Coordinators and Regional Officers, and oversee the Five-Star Chapter Development Program. Carolyn Morris, a longtime staff member, has accepted the newly created position of Chapter Programs Coordinator. She will work primarily with new advisors and with planning and overseeing the Advisors Pre-Conference and the Educational Forums at the International Convention. Alison Henson, who served as receptionist for the Center for Excellence, has become the Chapter Programs Assistant.
