Enhanced Membership Benefits

Phi Theta Kappa members who CHOOSE Enhanced Membership at Houston Community College receive the following benefits in exchange for participating in at least one fundraising project, attending at least four chapter meetings, serving on one committee, and participating in at least one service project.

1. Phi Theta Kappa Honors Stole and Tassel provided free of charge. (Standard members have the right to wear the stole and tassel but must purchase it themselves.
2. Enhanced Membership Certificate presented.
3. Special Banquet held in honor of enhanced members.
4. Eligible for chapter travel funds to regional and international meetings of Phi Theta Kappa. (Standard members may attend meetings but must pay their own way.)
5. Eligible to run for chapter offices. (All chapter officers must be enhanced members.)
6. Letters of recommendation written by chapter advisors.
7. Special recognition given at Houston Community College System Awards Ceremony.
