The Journey A fundraising calendar helps everyone to have a much better and clearer picture of past and future activities. Record not only your chapter’s fundraising projects but also note other community activities that might have an effect on your moneymaking efforts. By including details of other community events you will avoid the overlapping or duplication of efforts and ideas. This can help you avoid not only embarrassment but possibly a financial disaster as well. Don’t forget to note campus-related dates, such as exam weeks, fall and spring breaks, holidays (depending on the fundraiser theme, this may not be the best time for fundraising.) A fundraising calendar will not only help you plan this year but will also be a wonderful resource for chapter members in the future!
