Nota Bene Anthology Offers Scholarships, Chance To Be Published

Sixteen Phi Theta Kappa members will have their works published in the 2003 edition of Nota Bene, Phi Theta Kappa's annual literary anthology. And five of those members also take home cash scholarships! Rene' Dille from Fullerton College in California received the $1,000 Citation Scholarship for her short story, My Mother's Hand. Reynolds Scholarships of $500 each went to Janet Best, Mohawk Valley Community College, New York; Kelly S. Clement, Lake City Community College, Florida; Kenneth Drummond, Greenville Technical College, South Carolina; and Dustin Heron, Butte College, California.

Nota Bene 2003 will be published in the fall and distributed to all community college libraries, college presidents, chapter advisors and chapter presidents. Members currently enrolled at the two-year college may submit entries for the 2004 edition through December 5, 2003. For more information on submissions, visit www.ptk.org/publications/notabene/notabene_info.htm or contact Director of Publications Nell Ewing at nell.ewing@ptk.org or 601.984.3516.
