Centennial Celebration Ideas for Fall 2001
- Create a picture/memorabilia wall or bulletin board of your college’s history.
- Prepare an article describing the history of the community college and distribute it to your student body and local newspapers.
- Host a faculty appreciation day to honor their contributions to academic excellence in the two-year college.
- Create a time capsule to be buried on Phi Theta Kappa’s Founders Day (November 19).
- Sponsor a poetry or essay contest that describes life on the community college campus. The entries could be compiled to share with future generations about campus life during the year 2001.
