Groundhog Job Shadow Day is the kickoff to a year-long national effort that provides students with an up-close look at how skills learned in school are put into action in the workplace. On the last Groundhog Job Shadow Day (February 2, 2000), more than one million of America’s youth set off to explore over 75,000 workplaces nationwide. The goal for Groundhog Job Shadow Day 2001 is to reach even more students. If your chapter is interested in this opportunity, you can find more information at www.jobshadow.org or call 800.633.7456.
