Journey Challenge 2000 Deadline Nears

Chapter advisors and officers are reminded of two important deadlines for the Journey Challenge 2000 program: To be counted in the Journey Challenge totals, new members must be inducted on or before December 31, 2000, and reported to International Headquarters by January 31, 2001. For speedy processing, Phi Theta Kappa advisors are reminded they may now report new members on line through eMembers. Nearly 40 percent of the advisors reporting new inductees in October, the first month it was available, used eMembers, indicating an enthusiastic response to this new procedure.

More than 600 Phi Theta Kappa chapters have accepted the Journey Challenge 2000, pledging to review and enhance their recruitment and orientation procedures to ensure that all eligible students fully understand the benefits of Society membership. Chapters may still formally accept the Challenge by completing the on-line Journey Challenge Acceptance Form. Chapters may track their Journey Challenge progress.
