The Phi Theta Kappa Network Connects Members to New Benefits!
Society members may now “connect” on line to more recognition opportunities, scholarships and career possibilities, through The Phi Theta Kappa Network, the newest membership benefit.
The four components of The Phi Theta Kappa Network —The Academic Connection, The Scholarship Connection, The Career Connection and The Recognition Connection — are designed to enhance members’ academic progress and give them an edge on a successful future.
Members only may enroll in The Phi Theta Kappa Network by visiting getconnected.ptk.org. A total of $10,000 in scholarships will be awarded to randomly selected members who enroll on line.
The Academic Connection: Learning Resources at Your Fingertips
The Academic Connection provides Honors Study Topic information, selected writings from Nota Bene literary anthology, timely lessons on leadership and invaluable links to research sources. Members now have access to XanEdu™, a powerful search and retrieval reference library.
The Scholarship Connection: Links to College Funding
The Scholarship Connection links members to ScholarshipTRAK™, a repository of more than 8,000 sources of financial support, and to the e-Scholarship Directory, updated daily. Members enrolled in The Network will be included in the Society’s Transfer Database, used by senior institutions to recruit transfer students. The Scholarship Connection will provide one personalized letter of recommendation for an admissions or scholarship programs officer, confirming membership and any significant leadership role in Phi Theta Kappa.
The Career Connection: An Edge in the Job Market
Through a partnership with JOBTRAK™, members may now enroll free of charge in the JOBTRAK™ Network, a college job listing site which offers entry-level jobs, internships, full and part-time positions. The Career Connection will also provide one personalized letter of recommendation, to be sent to a potential employer, confirming membership and any significant leadership role, such as holding chapter or regional office, in Phi Theta Kappa.
The Recognition Connection: Rewarding Your Achievement
The Recognition Connection furnishes an electronic press release announcing election to membership and supplies Network members access to exclusive Recognitions items and special discounts.
