Nota Bene 2000 to Be Distributed in October

The 2000 edition of Nota Bene, the Society’s annual honors anthology, is scheduled to be published in October. The writings of 23 talented members of Phi Theta Kappa will be showcased in the new publication, which contains a total of 25 literary selections chosen from a field of 1,240 entries.

Winner of the $1,000 Citation Scholarship for the best overall manuscript is Ruth Russell, Greenfield Community College, Massachusetts, for the poem Good-Bye Winter.

Reynolds Scholarships of $500 each were presented to Isiah Drake, Wilbur Wright College, Illinois, for his essay, The Alley; Christy Gant, St. Charles County Community College, Missouri, for her poem Poetic Tendencies; Amy Young, Tomball College, Texas, poem, GiGi’s Ghost; and Elizabeth LeHew, Central Florida Community College, short story, Feed My Sheep.
