Interim Coordinators for the Iowa and Carolinas Regions were appointed recently by Phi Theta Kappa Executive Director Rod A. Risley. Nancy Woods has been named Interim Coordinator for Iowa, and Charles Koci will serve as Interim Coordinator for the Carolinas. Woods, advisor at Des Moines Area Community College’s Boone Campus, has taught physics and mathematics at the college for the past 15 years. She replaces Dr. Regena Peters, the Iowa Region’s first Coordinator, who will serve as Senior Coordinator during Woods’ interim term.Woods may be contacted at at 515.433.5061. Koci, advisor at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College in Orangeburg, South Carolina, replaces longtime Carolinas Regional Coordinator Joan Keller. Keller will serve as Carolinas Senior Coordinator during Koci’s interim term. Koci has served as a chapter advisor since 1998 and is a member of the mathematics faculty. He was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa in 1993 while a student at Trident Technical College in Charleston, South Carolina. Koci may be reached at 803.535.1292.
