From the north to the south, and all points in between, Phi Theta Kappa regions used the summer months to plan projects and activities that embrace the 2002-04 International Service Program, “Conquering Cancer” and the 2002-04 Honors Study Topic, “Dimensions and Directions of Health: Choices in the Maze.” Georgia The Georgia Region is actively supporting the pop tab collection program sponsored by Ronald McDonald House Charities. Each chapter is asked to collect at least five gallons of pop tabs between now and their regional convention to be held in February 2003. The donations will be tallied and delivered to a local Ronald McDonald House on behalf of the Georgia Region. The region has also established a Cancer Victim and Survivor tribute page on their website (www.georgiaptk.org) for anyone who wants to honor loved ones who have battled the disease. For details on how to contribute to this web page, contact Bill Zachmann at bzachmann@earthlink.net or visit the region’s website. Regional Officers now have a primary contact person at Phi Theta Kappa International Headquarters. For assistance, regional officers should contact Regional Programs Coordinator Faye Christian at faye.christian@ptk.org or 601.984.3530.
