What is Scholarly Fellowship? Many chapters planning a comprehensive program for the Fellowship Hallmark Award concentrate only on social get-togethers instead of "scholarly fellowship" events. Suggested activities for competing in this category include working with other chapters that need assistance and planning events that bring chapters together to discuss chapter programs. Award-winning chapters are also engaged in activities that develop campus and regional unity as well as programs that showcase the chapter as a participant in the community surrounding the college. Leading by Example Leadership isn't denoted by a title; it's demonstrated by action. Chapters who are competing in the Leadership Hallmark Award category should describe how their chapter members have taken on leadership roles on campus, in their community and on a regional level. Award-winning chapters have creative activities providing opportunities for the development of leadership skills not only for their members but also for students on campus and in their communities.
