I smell the thick moisture laden air
Pungent with decaying fall
Revealed as winter retreatsAnd…
I think of summer.
Birds conversing in the night.
The soft applause of leaves
gently nudged by evening breeze.I lie upon my bed
head propped and ready.Anticipating.
