The 2004 Satellite Seminar Series provides exceptional opportunities for chapters to implement the new Honors Study Topic, Popular Culture: Shaping and Reflecting Who We Are. Five outstanding academicians will discuss various aspects of the Topic from interdisciplinary perspectives. The interactive format of the seminars allows members of the satellite audience to call in questions to the presenters. Colleges subscribing to the Honors Satellite Seminars have utilized the series for recruitment by inviting high school honor students to attend. Chapters also extend invitations to faculty, the campus community and local business and civic leaders.
