Regions Reach Out to Florida Hurricane Victims; Assistance Still Needed

The Florida Region has been hit especially hard during this year's hurricane season as the state endured four hurricanes in a span of only six weeks. In early September, Division II Vice President Severin Zindler spread the word through the Regional Officer Electronic Mailing List that the region was collecting school supplies and cash donations. Florida has already received donations from the Tennessee, Kansas, Nebraska/ Wyoming and the Nevada/California Regions.

Our help is still needed as the recovery process continues! School supplies can be sent directly to the Omicron Epsilon Chapter of Edison Community College in care of Dr. Ben Polk, 8099 College Parkway, Ft. Myers, Florida 33919.  Cash donations can be sent to Connie LaMarca-Frankel, Florida Regional Coordinator, Pasco-Hernando Community College, 36727 Blanton Ave., Dade City, Florida 33523.  Checks should be made payable to Phi Theta Kappa Florida Region. Thank you for your assistance!
