Celebrate Founders Day with Honors Satellite Seminar!

In honor of the Society's Founders Day on November 19, Phi Theta Kappa will again be offering chapters the opportunity to participate in the live broadcast of this year's final Honors Satellite Seminar on Tuesday, November 16. Colleges that have not subscribed to the Satellite Seminar Series will receive a special invitation later this month to participate in the "Sports in Popular Culture: Are We Winning or Losing?" with Dr. Richard Lapchick. Chair of the DeVos Sports Business Management Program at the University of Central Florida and Director of the Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport, Dr. Lapchick will discuss why sports are an integral part of American popular culture, the "bad boys" and "bad girls" of modern sports and the cultural environment that engenders negative role models.
