Blinn College, Brenham, TX

...team members have developed the following initiatives as part of participation in this Phi Theta Kappa project: a program that allows students to co-enroll at Blinn College and Texas A&M University; Community College Teaching Scholars Program, a joint venture between Blinn College and Texas A&M to increase the number of Hispanic and African-American teachers; an Alter-native Certificate Program to bring students with Bachelors degrees through an abbreviated certification program. Blinn College's team was guided on the development of these programs by mentors, Deborah Zoph, and Roger Verhey.
