International student members should be given equal opportunity to compete for Phi Theta Kappa scholarships offered by senior institutions. Many times we are excluded from consideration just because we are international students.

Phi Theta Kappa needs to convince college administrations to provide stipends to advisors in recognition of their many hours of work with their chapters. These funds might be used to defray some travel expenses.

Phi Theta Kappa should become more involved in curriculum development in the two-year college. For instance, Phi Theta Kappa should be working with institutions to aid in the development of service-learning courses. With the Society's terrific service programs and emphasis on the service hallmark, working with service learning is a natural fit.
