JACKSON, MS – Phi Theta Kappa has chartered a new chapter at J.F. Drake State Technical College in Alabama. In an April 16 chartering ceremony held on campus, 12 students were inducted as charter members of the Beta Upsilon Xi Chapter.
Phi Theta Kappa’s 95th Annual Convention in San Jose, California, culminated Saturday, April 6, with the presentation of the 2013 Hallmark Award Winners, including Most Distinguished Chapter to Alpha Zeta Iota from Northwest Shoals Community College in Phil Campbell, Alabama.

JACKSON, MS – Phi Theta Kappa has chartered its first exclusively online chapter at Ashford University. In an April 29 chartering ceremony 222 students became charter members of the new Beta Tau Chi Chapter.
Jackson, MS – Phi Theta Kappa members and advisors from the three campuses of Holmes Community College in Mississippi were honored on the floor of the legislature at Mississippi's State Capitol recently for their accomplishments at the Society's Annual Convention in Nashville April 12-14.
The Alpha Kappa Kappa Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa from the County College of Morris in Randolph, New Jersey, recently held a Commit to Complete Signing Day and Community College Completion Corps (C4) Summit. They gathered 219 signatures for completion commitments.
Students who signed the commitment to complete at Ozarks Technical Community College receive regular motivational messages and reminders of completion resources from the Alpha Psi Tau Chapter, delivered by email.

Montcalm Community College’s Alpha Tau Alpha Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa sponsored a “Dream to Complete” week on its Sidney, Michigan, campus this fall to encourage its students to finish what they have started – their college credentials.
Led by members of Alpha Theta Theta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, more than 1,000 Essex County College students kicked off their commitment to earn their college degree at a rally held at the Newark, New Jersey, campus.
