Chandler Named Associate Vice President of Financial Services

Jackson, Mississippi - Phi Theta Kappa has named Paige Chandler Associate Vice President of Financial Services and Comptroller, effective November 1.

Prior to joining the Phi Theta Kappa staff as Director of Financial Services in 2012, Chandler served as Director of Finance for Catholic Charities in Jackson.

A certified public accountant, she earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration and accounting from Delta State University.

“I accepted this position because I believe in what we do at Phi Theta Kappa,” Chandler said. “I have seen first-hand the impact we are making in the lives of college students by recognizing their achievements as well as providing growth opportunities through scholarship and leadership.”

Chandler is assuming the duties of outgoing Chief Financial Officer Steve Mulhollen, who has accepted a position as executive pastor of business and administration at his church. Mulhollen served as Phi Theta Kappa’s external auditor for nearly eight years before joining the Headquarters staff in 2011. He served as CFO for six years and was also serving as Vice President of Scholarship and Operations.

“It has been my privilege to serve as external auditor for nearly eight years and chief financial officer for over six years,” Mulhollen said. “Phi Theta Kappa will always have special place in my heart.”

“Phi Theta Kappa’s strong financial position allows us to fulfill our mission of providing recognition for members through scholarships,” said Phi Theta Kappa President and CEO Dr. Lynn Tincher-Ladner. “We are so grateful for the years Steve has spent stewarding Phi Theta Kappa’s financial resources and I have every confidence that we will continue to thrive under Paige’s leadership.”
