Sponsorship Opportunities for Four-year Colleges and Universities

Join approximately 4,000+ of the nation’s highest-achieving community college students April 19-21, 2018 as they converge in Kansas City, MO at the Kansas City Convention Center for three days of inspiration and fellowship at Phi Theta Kappa’s centennial convention, PTK Catalyst. The following describes sponsorship opportunities for four-year college and university representatives to meet and network with students, college administrators, and faculty & staff to showcase information about their college’s transfer admissions requirements, scholarships and more. Sponsorships begin with an investment of $3,000 and vary with exposure opportunities. Diamond Level Sponsorship Opportunities

All Diamond-Level Sponsors will receive the following benefits. Colleges sponsoring at the Diamond level must be subscribed to CollegeFish.org and/or offer a Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship at the time of the annual convention. Specific opportunities are available below:

  • Sponsor is offered a premier location display table with recruitment opportunities for the duration of the Annual Convention to provide personal assistance and recruitment information to an estimated 4,000+ Convention delegates - students, advisors, and administrators.
  • Sponsor may exhibit at the Phi Theta Kappa Senior College Transfer Fairs on Friday, April 20, and Saturday, April 21, from 11:30 am until 2:30 pm with waived registration, a $1,000 value.
  • Registration fees are waived for up to six (6) representatives to attend Phi Theta Kappa’s Annual Convention, allowing even greater access to thousands of Phi Theta Kappa members, two-year college faculty and administrators in attendance, a $2,300 value.
  • Sponsor will be recognized in the convention program.
  • Sponsor will be recognized on Phi Theta Kappa’s convention website with a link provided to preferred landing page.
  • Sponsor will receive a complimentary list of all convention registrants pre-and post-convention.
  • Sponsor will have first right of refusal for 2019 Convention Sponsorship.

  • Opportunity to submit a three-minute promotional video for the venue hotel’s television channel that will be recurring for the entire convention, reaching approximately 8,000 persons.

General Session Spotlight Sponsorship (4 available) $9,500

PTK Catalyst General Sessions bring all attendees together for an opportunity to hear first-rate speakers, recognize member and advisor accomplishments, and celebrate the common Hallmarks held by all members.

  • Sponsor may choose to show a two-minute promotional video, or provide a two-minute address, or a two-minute total combination of both to the general session audience of approximately 4,000+.
  • Sponsor representatives will have reserved front section seats for at least one General Session.
  • Sponsor’s logo will be included in pre-Session slides.
  • Sponsor will be recognized during the International Officer speech opening the Session.
  • Sponsor may present a co-branded gift to all delegates at the General Session (Optional). Please coordinate gift with Phi Theta Kappa to prevent duplication; examples include pom poms, beach balls, or hand-held signs.

Lanyard Sponsorship (Sponsorship Confirmed) $10,000

  • Designation as the official sponsor for Convention Lanyards to be distributed to all convention attendees at the point of registration.
  • Phi Theta Kappa will work with the sponsor to design and order co-branded lanyards.
  • Sponsor will be recognized for their support at the PTK Catalyst Registration area.

Registrant Bag Sponsorship (1) $10,000

  • Designation as the official sponsor for Convention Registration Bags to be filled by Phi Theta Kappa staff and distributed to all convention attendees at the point of registration.
  • Phi Theta Kappa will work with the sponsor to design and order co-branded bags.
  • Costs associated with the production and shipping of the bags will be handled by Phi Theta Kappa.
  • Sponsor will be recognized for their support at the PTK Catalyst Registration area.

Promotional Item Sponsorships (6) (Pens, Notepads, Water Bottles, etc.) $10,000

  • Designation as the official sponsor for a promotional item to be distributed to all convention attendees at the point of registration, or another appropriately appointed time during the convention. Phi Theta Kappa will work with the sponsor to design and order co-branded items. Costs associated with the production and shipping of the item will be handled by Phi Theta Kappa.

Convention Program Sponsorship (1) $9,500

  • Designation as the official sponsor for the Convention Program to be distributed at the point of registration.
  • Sponsor will have a full-page color advertisement on the back cover of the convention program that will be distributed to all convention attendees at the point of registration.
  • Sponsor will be recognized for their support at the PTK Catalyst Registration area.

 

Platinum Level Sponsorship Opportunities

All Platinum-Level Sponsors will receive the following benefits. Colleges sponsoring at the Platinum level must be subscribed to CollegeFish.org and/or offer a Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship at the time of the annual convention. Specific opportunities are available below:

Phi Theta Kappa Store Bag Sponsorship (1) $7,500

  • Designation as the official sponsor of the Phi Theta Kappa Store Bags – each year, more than 1,000 advisors and members purchase a variety of Phi Theta Kappa items from the store on-site.
  • College logo, and that of PTK Catalyst 2018, will be printed on bags used for The Phi Theta Kappa Store item sales. Costs associated with the production and shipping of the bags will be handled by Phi Theta Kappa.
  • Sponsor will be recognized for their support at the PTK Store area.

Photo Booth Sponsorship $7,500

  • Designation as the official sponsor of the PTK Catalyst Photo Booth - Provide the opportunity for all convention attendees to commemorate their participation in Phi Theta Kappa’s Centennial Convention with fun keepsake photographs! The booth will be located within a high-traffic area of Convention for high visibility.
  • College logo, and that of PTK Catalyst 2018, will be included on each photograph taken.
  • Sponsor will be recognized for their support at the Photo Booth area.

Resource Center Sponsorship $7,500

The Resource Center will be located inside of the Marketplace, the nucleus of PTK Catalyst activity. It will serve as a one-stop-shop for all members and advisors to obtain information about membership recruitment, advisor assistance, Competitive Edge, Hallmarks, 5 Star Chapter Development Plan, Leadership, Honors Institute, and Scholarships. Benefits for your support will include:

  • Sponsor is offered a premier location display table with recruitment opportunities inside of the Resource Center for the entire duration of the Annual Convention to provide personal assistance and recruitment information to an estimated 4,000+ Convention delegates - students, advisors, and administrators.
  • Sponsor’s official college logo will be used on panels inside of the Resource Center recognizing their support.
  • Sponsor representatives may assist in games and other programming activities to engage and network with students

Advisor Luncheon Co-Sponsorship $8,750

Each year, approximately 750 chapter advisors attend the luncheon. Chapter Advisors are community college faculty/staff who oversee their respective chapter of Phi Theta Kappa on their college campus.

  • Designation as a Co-Sponsor for the Advisor Luncheon.
  • Opportunity to make brief remarks (estimated two minutes) during the Luncheon.
  • Co-Sponsor will be recognized within all appropriate event collateral and announcements during the program.
  • Co-Sponsor may have an exhibit table located outside of the luncheon entrance to provide information.
  • Complimentary attendance for up to (2) two college representatives for the Luncheon.
  • Opportunity to send a note of congratulations to Chapter Advisor award winners. Approximately 150 awards are given to acknowledge exemplary advisors nominated by their students. Phi Theta Kappa will share the list of Award Recipients.

 

Gold Level Sponsorship Opportunities

All Gold-Level Sponsors will receive the following benefits. Specific opportunities are available below:

  • Sponsor is offered a premier location display table with recruitment opportunities for the entire duration of the Annual Convention to provide personal assistance and recruitment information to an estimated 4,000+ Convention delegates - students, advisors, and administrators.
  • Sponsor may exhibit at the Phi Theta Kappa Senior College Transfer Fairs on Friday, April 20, and Saturday, April 21, from 11:30 am until 2:30 pm with waived registration, a $1,000 value.

  • Sponsor will receive a complimentary list of region-specific convention registrants pre-and post-convention.

Educational Forum Round Sponsorship (8) $5,250

Designation as the official sponsor for one (1) round educational forums - breakout sessions during Convention (8 opportunities available-30 minutes each)

  • Sponsor will have recognition via college logo on projection screens within each breakout room for their sponsored round of forums.
  • Sponsor will have the option to propose an educational forum on a topic to promote academic success or complement the professional development of members and advisors to be presented by an expert provided by Partner. Proposals are due by November 15, 2017. Proposal is not required to sponsor a round of educational forums.

Regional Meeting Speaking Sponsorship (29 available) $5,500 per region

Phi Theta Kappa is composed of 30 geographic regions. Student members and chapter advisors from within each of these regions will briefly assemble during PTK Catalyst to discuss important topics relevant to their region and plan for an exciting and productive convention experience. Your sponsorship of a Regional Meeting will include the following benefits:

  • Designation as the official sponsor of one of our 29 Regional Meetings
  • Opportunity to present for three (3) minutes at the Regional Meeting
  • Opportunity to place/distribute literature and branded gifts at the sponsored event

Catalyst Luncheon Co-Sponsorship (10) $6,000

This event will celebrate the accomplishments of chapters, members, and advisors with an approximate attendance of 4,000+.

  • Designation as a Co-Sponsor of the Celebrating Excellence Luncheon.
  • Opportunity to have one promotional piece placed in each chair at the luncheon.
  • Sponsors will be recognized through event and luncheon signage.

 

Silver Level Sponsorship Opportunities

All Silver-Level Sponsors will receive the following benefits. Specific opportunities are available below:

Regional Convention Toolkits Sponsorship (4) $3,250 per Division

Phi Theta Kappa regions host conventions and other events throughout the spring semester, and Phi Theta Kappa Headquarters sends a toolkit for each of these events. This new sponsorship will provide exposure as materials are included in toolkits sent to each event (also included in the toolkit is information about Phi Theta Kappa programming and member benefits). Sponsors of these toolkits will have the opportunity to build brand recognition at regional conventions and during the international convention. Phi Theta Kappa has four geographic Divisions to choose from; they are:

Division 1 includes: NC, SC, PA, NJ, DE, MD, CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, VT, NY, OH, VA, WV

Division 2 includes: MS, LA, TN, TX, FL, GA, KY, AL

Division 3 includes: IL, IN, IA, KS, NE, MI, MN, ND, SD, MO, OK, AR, WI

Division 4 includes: AZ, CO, WY, WA, AK, MT, ID, NV, CA, NM, HI, OR, UT

Awards Tabloid (1) $3,500

The Awards Tabloid recognizes the highest achieving chapters, regions, advisors, administrators, and alumni who are acknowledged during the Hallmark Awards Gala at convention. This publication is distributed immediately following conclusion of the gala. Convention attendees receive copies to serve as mementoes and to share with their community college administrators. Benefits for your support will include:

  • Sponsor will be designated as the Awards Tabloid Sponsor.
  • Sponsor may have a full-page advertisement inside the front cover of the Awards Tabloid to be distributed immediately following the Hallmark Awards Gala to all attendees.

International Officer Candidate Orientation Sponsorship (1) $4,000

This event assists International Officer Candidates in preparing for their campaign during the convention. Approximately 30 International Officer Candidates, along with their chapter advisors and campaign managers, will be in attendance (approximately 100-150 people).

  • Designation as the official sponsor of the Candidate Orientation
  • Opportunity to present for three (3) minutes at the event
  • Sponsor will be recognized in any appropriate event materials, announcements, and/or signage
  • Opportunity to set up a recruitment table to distribute literature and branded gifts at the sponsored event. Optional
