Growing up, Emily loved playing “doctor,” and unlike most kids, she liked going to the dentist and the doctor’s office. This made healthcare the obvious career choice for her, and she is currently a certified nursing assistant on her way to becoming a registered nurse. Emily knows her calling in life is to love and care for others. Upon graduation, she wants to immediately begin work in labor and delivery. If she continues to specialize in labor and delivery, she may return to school to become a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse-Midwifery.
