Judith is pursuing a degree in education to fulfill her goal of work with children with exceptionalities, a career choice that is very personal to her. In her 20s, her youngest brother, who had down syndrome, died alone in a school for children with exceptionalities where she was not allowed to visit him. Her goal is to provide the nurturing support for children with exceptionalities. As she earns her degree, Judith works as a substitute for a local elementary school.
