After a layoff and finding herself overqualified for many of the careers in her previous field, Karoline decided it was time for change. She moved from Colorado to West Virginia and enrolled in community college to pursue a new career as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Karoline was drawn to this choice because of the low-risk of layoffs, stable schedule doing meaningful work, and the opportunity it offers her to make a difference in people’s lives.
