PTK Catalyst 2018: What’s Your Return on Investment?

Are you on the fence about whether to attend PTK Catalyst 2018? For Dr. Glenda Colagross, Interim President of Northwest-Shoals Community College in Alabama, it’s a no-brainer.

“The first time I attended a Phi Theta Kappa convention, I remember thinking, ‘Wow! This is the like the Academy Awards for smart students!'” she said. “It is so important to make sure our students can attend this particular event because it’s a way to recognize them for their hard work and academic achievement; to allow these campus leaders to travel to a major city, which is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many of them.

“Not only am I sending my chapters, but I am riding a bus from Alabama to Kansas City with about half the chapters in the Alabama Community College System!”

PTK Catalyst 2018 will be the Party of the Century, and it may be the bargain of the century as well. For a total cost of around $800 per student (registration, lodging, and travel), what’s in it for you and your college?
