Marketplace will be the hub of activity at PTK Catalyst 2019. It’s where everyone gathers, but it’s so much more than a meeting place. Here’s what you’ll find there.

Career Pathways Booth

For the first time ever, representatives from national organizations such as Walgreens, Ingalls Shipbuilding, Residence Inn Marriott, Urban Teachers, and GEICO will be at PTK Catalyst to talk with you about career pathways and opportunities. Bring your resume and be ready to network!

Professional Headshot Station

Also new to Marketplace is a headshot station. Come have your professional headshot taken, and get your photos instantly.

PTK Connect Booth

This is your chance to test drive PTK Connect, our all-new online tool that lets you search for transfer scholarships, transfer-friendly colleges, career pathways, and more. Just look for the oversized Connect 4 game.

Author Book Signings

Both of our guest speakers will sign copies of their books at the PTK Store Booth.

That’s right, you can get all your PTK merchandise on-site, including the exclusive PTK Catalyst 2019 t-shirts and plushie. We’ll have regular PTK gear there as well, plus regalia, mugs, and more.

Meet the Phi Theta Kappa experts on scholarships, student engagement, and chapter development. Claim your awards and pick up your name badge ribbons. Check out the new PTK EDGE™, and finish it all with a pic at the photo kiosk.

PTK Foundation Booth

Mingle with PTK alumni and find out how you can stay involved once your time at your two-year college is over. Donate at least $5 in support of the Golden Opportunity Scholarship and get a commemorative PTK Catalyst 2019 pin.

Yes, more shopping! Support your fellow chapters as they sell their own PTK swag.

Corporate and College Sponsors

International Officer Candidate Booths

Get to know the 2019-2020 International Officer candidates at their booths, and learn about their vision for PTK. Marketplace is also where you’ll find these special events:

• International Officer Political Rally — Thursday, April 4, 9:30-11 p.m.
• Conversations with Candidate Finalists — Friday, April 5, 4-5 p.m.

Scholar Bowl Preliminary Rounds

Cheer for your favorite team as they compete in the preliminary rounds, which begin Thursday, April 4, at 1 p.m. It’s all leading up to the final round, which is held on the general session stage.

Bonus: Educational Forums

Okay, so, technically Educational Forums aren’t held in Marketplace. But, you’ll want to add them to your to-do list for sure. With more than 200 offerings, you know there’ll be something for everyone.
