PTK announces first-ever Founders Medal Award

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is now accepting entries for the new Founders Medal Award. Sponsored by the Phi Theta Kappa Board of Directors, this annual award will recognize a graduating PTK member who has written the finest essay reflecting on the value of a community college education. 

To be considered, PTK members must be enrolled in a two-year degree program or one-year certification program and be graduating in Spring 2022. PTK members and alumni currently seeking bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degrees or those no longer attending college are ineligible. 

The student with the top submission will receive a medal at their graduation ceremony and a $1,000 cash prize. Deadline to apply is January 31, 2022, at 5 PM CST.
