Competitive Scholarships

Competitive Scholarships

Each year, the Phi Theta Kappa Foundation awards millions of dollars in competitive scholarships made possible by hundreds of generous donors who believe in the power of community college students. These scholarships are not automatic—they’re earned. And each application is carefully reviewed by panels of judges who select the most outstanding scholars from across the nation.

Whether you're planning to transfer or head straight into the workforce, we encourage you to apply as soon as you accept membership—and to update your applicationat the beginning of each term to keep it competitive.

Your hard work deserves more than recognition. It deserves investment.
