David Shinn Family Scholarship

Purpose: The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial support for continuing education towards a bachelor’s degree in international affairs or international development.

Award: Varies

Eligibility:

  • Be currently enrolled in 6 or more semester credits of associate degree, college-level coursework through December.
  • Completed 36 or more semester credits by December.
  • 3.5 or higher GPA on coursework completed in the last 5 years.
  • Intend to transfer to a regionally accredited four-year college.
  • May not hold a previous certificate, associate or bachelor’s degree.
  • Academic record free from suspension, probation, or other disciplinary actions.
  • PTK membership is not required; however, preference is given to members in good standing.
  • Preference given to those planning a career in international affairs or international development.
