Bower-Delta State University Transfer Nursing Scholarship

Purpose: The Bower-Delta State Transfer University Nursing Scholarship provides resources to assist PTK members who intend to pursue a BSN degree at Delta State University. This initiative focuses on strengthening Mississippi’s healthcare workforce to ensure healthier communities for generations to come.

Awards: $4,000 per semester (renewable, up to five semesters)

Eligibility:

• PTK membership required.
• Be currently enrolled at a two-year college OR have an RN license and are working in the state of Mississippi and intend to transfer to Delta State University in Cleveland, MS.
• Be admitted to both Delta State University and Delta State University’s Robert E. Smith School of Nursing.
• Attend Delta State University in either the traditional pre-licensure BSN pathway or the RN to BSN program.

Upon completion of the scholarship application, PTK will confirm your application and acceptance with the Delta State Nursing program. You may apply prior to knowing your nursing acceptance status. The number of awards varies by year.
